La Quinta Inn at Burlington showcases Kasson & Keller’s ability to solve uncommon project requirements with practical thinking, responsive support, and jobsite-friendly delivery.
For this project, Kasson & Keller supplied commercial 9100 slider windows for a replacement-style application, meaning the units were built without a nail fin and designed to work with the project’s specialized installation approach. The order also included a custom color finish, helping align the window package with the visual requirements of the building.
One of the most important details on this project was the development of a custom WOCD solution. At the time, that option was not available for this particular product line, but the architect required it. Rather than treating that as a dead end, the Kasson & Keller team researched the requirement and developed a specialty solution to help meet the project specification.
To support the installation process, Kasson & Keller also provided an installation meeting with the customer team. That extra coordination helped ensure the product and field approach were aligned before installation began.
Logistics were another advantage. The windows were delivered using direct drop-site delivery, bringing the product straight to the jobsite and helping the customer avoid extra handling, reloading, and unnecessary risk of damage in transit.
The project also included discussion around matching a solarium mullion application in vinyl, though that portion ultimately moved in a different direction.
