Autumn Pond was a project where practical coordination mattered just as much as the window package itself. Kasson & Keller supplied a mix of units designed to meet the needs of the building layout while helping the customer keep the project moving efficiently on site.
The order included 35 mulled configurations, 74 single units, and 31 picture units, along with a small number of additional single units for the stairways. A key detail on this project was the use of custom sash splits to achieve egress requirements in openings where full-height egress windows were not possible. That solution helped the project meet functional needs without requiring a specialty overhaul of the overall package.
The mulled units used standard composite mulling, with no aluminum reinforcement required, keeping the configuration straightforward while still supporting the project requirements. The windows were also supplied without extension jambs, allowing the customer to provide their own extensions as part of the installation plan.
From a logistics standpoint, one of the biggest advantages was Kasson & Keller’s ability to ship directly to the jobsite. Delivering straight to Autumn Pond simplified handling for the customer and allowed the units to be unloaded directly into onsite storage, helping the crew stay organized and reducing unnecessary movement of product.
